Description
Yarmouth was one of the wealthiest towns in Britain – her quays were packed with fishing boats for the herring season and the town boasted a holiday trade that was unrivalled. See life as it used to be in Yarmouth through sixty years of archive film including the herring fleets at sea and in port, the Prince of Wales opening the Haven Bridge in 1930, holiday publicity films from the 1930s and 1950s and Tommy Cooper, Ruby Murray and Benny Hill visiting the town.
